Facebook CRM’, is a new application created by software development company LINK Development to enable companies to communicate with and handle queries from customers through Facebook. The new application adapts Microsoft’s ‘Dynamics CRM’ technology to the Facebook platform, enabling companies with this system in place to conveniently deliver services through Facebook. The companies’ customers, for example, can submit queries/requests from their Facebook screen, and be able to track the status of their submitted request and get real-time feedback. Interesting spin on social networking for busininess in my opinion.

BlackBerry users have racked up more than one million downloads of a Facebook app in the five months since it launched.
Facebook for BlackBerry, allows users to perform a variety of tasks including sending and viewing messages, making Wall posts and ‘poking’ other Facebook users. A user’s status message can also be updated on the go, and friend requests can be made and responded to. In addition, users can take photos on their phones and upload them directly to Facebook.
